I have a cable modem (CHELLO) connection with the internet. I have a 3Com
network card.
After about 10 minutes I do not get any connection because suddenly the IP
adress ( 218. etc..) I have to use for getting connection with CHELLO is
changing to an IP adress you normallu use for a home network 169. etc...
Pls. who knows how to handle this?
thanks

Open Network Connections. Right click the icon for your connection and
select Properties. On the Networking tab, select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and click Properties. On the next screen that appears, move the dot next to
"obtain IP automatically" to "use the following IP address." There is a space
provided to type in the desired IP number.
