monitor distortion with xp

after installing xp, my monitor is now fussy at the
corners. When dragged into the center they are clear.
thia also happened on another machine after loading
Windows 2000. I don't want to buy a new monitor.

Same monitor on both xp and 2000????? If so probably monitor since you
tried 2 machines. Would have helped if you could have posted the monitor
model..... And the computer model. Plus a lot of posters in the newsgroup
assume readers can read minds.
