system crashed during the installation of downloaded XP
updates (12.6 MB total download). Error report said it
was related to a device driver. Should I try to have
system rescanned and download desired updates? How do I
remove the partially installed update if it became
corrupted? How would I know?
Thanks, jimmyc16

Hi Jimmy,

Locate the \WUTemp folder and delete the contents, then revisit the update
site and start again.
