sp2 and spoolsv.eve

Just installed sp2 running xp home

all of the sudden spoolsv.exe is using as much as 48,788k

this is nuts, any ideas, happen to anybody else since sp2?

by the way, try to change printer to "print directly to printer" and was going
to diable the spooler, got an error change could not be made, don't know if
that means anything.

It can also be the sign of malware. Do a thorough scan of the computer
with a variety of programs.

I have running anti virus, ad-aware, pocexp, bazooka, spybot, etc all turn up
nothing

could this be something other than a malicous "guest"?

Yes, I would think so, but sorry I don't know what to suggest. Maybe
someone else with more knowledge in this area will answer.
