I forgot how to disable autodetect on the CD drive. It
drives me nuts that the CD starts running when I place it
in the drive, especially if there is something wrong with
the disc and I want to check it out without necessarily
starting the program.

Hi Stony,
Double-click "My Computer", right-click the CD drive and select properties.
You can change your settings on the autoplay tab.
