sorting "favorites"

I just recently installed Windows XP. Using Windows 98 when I wanted to sort
my "favorites" I would right click on the folder and choose the "sort by
name" option and they would sort alphabetically. Now with Windows XP there
is no "sort by name" option when you right click on "favorites".

How can you alphabetize your favorites with Windows XP?

In Internet Explorer, click on "Favorites" to get the list of your
favorites, highlight ANY one of your favorites and right-click.. Choose
"Sort by Name".

In start menu properties, make sure that drag and drop is enabled. That =
should bring back your right click sort by.

In Internet Explorer, I drag open my favorites lists, put my mouse cursor
over any of the favorites in that favorites window, be it the main, or
other folder's windows I have created that open to the side when I put the
cursor over a folder, , and click "sort by name". It's right there, 2nd
choice from the bottom after you right click. I do not understand why you
do not have that option..

Actually, the only way I could find to do it using WINXP media center
was to access the favorites through the start menu. Start - Favorites
- right click any one and the sort by name option is there. If I
accessed favorites via IE6 it was not there.
