How do you disable window messenger? Is unchecking its entry in MSCONFIG a
reliable way?
How do you uninstall it?
Thanks

Prevent "Windows Messenger" from automatically running

Note: Disable your antivirus program before running this script.

Run Regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and go to
CLSID{F3A614DC-ABED-11d2-A441-00C04F795683}
Delete the entire key
In the next run, window messenger will not load.
