View Full Version : Post sp2 shutdown problems

Hello all. It seems that after uninstalling the sp2 upgrade, my system takes
from 2 to 3 full minutes to shutdown. I have tried putting the auto end task
to 1 from 0, and putting it back again and that did not work. I have also
tried entering "net stop spooler" and that has not worked. I have noticed in
the programs removal section that all of the windows hotfixs' have (sp2) in
the title even after it has been removed. I would greatly appreciate any info
and I thank you all for your time.

The SP2 part in the windows hotfix entries is normal for SP1. That just
indicates hotfixes for SP1 that were marked to go into SP2, so you have
removed SP2.
