Does your printer list in word prior to making the actual printout? YOu can
either trying the detect and repair mode in Word, or reloading the program to
see if it initializes and sees the printer. If the remaining programs see the
printer, it s not the printer, but the spooler file in word.

Yeah,
Have had similar problems. We have three large Konica MFD's and the drivers
for them are poor to say the least. One of them crashed the whole print
server (win2k3) and we are still waiting for a driver update.

Sorry to say but we should have stuck with Xerox solid as a rock!

(this is only my opinion)

Thanks for replying Jenifer

The machines see the printer ok, Word is listing it.
It all goes through fine when sending a print job, it lists in the printer
job list ok and disappears, then nothing prints out at the printer! It's
bizarre!

Any more thoughts on what it could be?
