I have the auto notice for windows updates enabled and
clicked on the download now for SP2...how can I cancel
this download without deactivating the auto notice? I want
to be noticed in the future for other updates.
Now, when I'm online I have that windows icon in the
taskbar once in a while that shows the status of the
download...I usually download the updates from the windows
catalog and store and install later.
I want to wait with the SP2 update and ordered a CD.
thx

first...disabled automatic updates,
then enabled it later again.
The auto update service notified me again and asked if I
want to download SP2 now?...this time I checked NO...after
that you get a box where you can check that you don't want
to be asked again for this update...
