Hi Pal,
You can not install XP with a Dos boot disk.
You need to boot up with the XP CD from a cdrom drive.
But first, go to the BIOS / CMOS setup program to change
the boot sequence to cdrom as the first boot order, and
the harddrive as the second boot order. Then save the
setting and restart. Don't forget to insert your Xp CD
into the cdrom drive before restarting.
Remember, you will lose all your data and program
application, by uninstalling and reinstalling the XP.
Just follow the onscreen instruction.
Good luck
