After SP2 Pack

Hi
I just installed SP2 upgrade pack and when I open "My
Computer", it take forever to access the folders and
files. Anyone experienced the same thing? And what is the
fix for it?

How long has it been? It can take several days and 3 or 4 reboots for
it to speed up. First defrag. The boot prefetch will kick in after the
3 rd reboot. It takes several days for the prefetch folder to be
rebuilt. And the in built optimization kicks in every 3 days. After
that defrag again.

If you're still having problems with it being slow opening My Computer
or folders after that run both edits on line 157 of this site:

Prevent Automatic Folder and Icon Refresh
Prevent Delay Opening My Computer/Explorer

Just installed SP2 and my Monitor setting are very low (high font)... Can not
change it MONITOR DEFAULT setting !!!.
Any ideas???
