I once changed the color of the taskbar from blue to silver. I've just
reinstalled WinXP. How do you change the color of the taskbar? I've
forgotten.
Thanks

Click Start, Control Panel, Appearance and Themes, Change the Computer's
theme, Appearance tab and then click on color scheme and select Silver.

You know Microsoft included a very useful facility within XP to stop folk
asking such base questions - it's called the Help and Support Centre and
it's right there on the Start menu - that big blue icon with a question mark
on it - you should try using it some time - you'll be surprised by what you
can learn...
