yes i'm back

when re-burning onto a +RW DVD is it best to wipe it first. is this even possible? if so, how?

or

do i just burn the new information over the old when prompted by my burning software to over write old files. will this cause the new files to deteriorate in quality in any way?

i am using DVD Architect.

cheers
