Notepad 'save as'

I have been saving emails to a 3 1/2" floppy. Suddenly
when I click save......I get the message that the name is
not valid. It freezes. A clean disc gets the same message.
Is there any succor for me in cyberland? joe

Is this only happening to one file? Have you tried a different file name?
