2nd PC Can't Connect to 1st on Network

I have two PCs. The first with XP Pro and the 2nd with XP Home Edition. Both
PCs are on the same Windows Network Group. I am able to connect from the 1st
PC to the 2nd, but not the 2nd to the 1st. When I try to connect to the 1st,
I get a message that the 2nd PC doesn't have access permissions/rights and
to go to the 1st PC and open Network Connections, then Incoming Connections,
then Network Tasks, then Change Settings of this Connection. I am able to
open Network Connections, but I see no Incoming Connections or beyond
selections. ??????

I'd appreciate advice.

If you used the Network wizard, check that the Internet Connection Firewall
is *not* attached to the network connection on either machine. You want it
protecting your internet connection. You do not want it active on the LAN
connections.

Greetings --

On the WinXP PCs, create local user account(s), with non-blank
password(s), that have the desired access privileges to the desired
shares. Log on to the other PCs using those account(s), and you will
be able to access the designated shares, provided your network is
configured properly.

Usually, WinXP's Networking Wizard makes it simple and painless --
almost entirely automatic, in fact. There's a lot of useful,

Could someone confirm that you are allowed to put spaces in user account
names (eg "Fred Bloggs")? Does this cause network problems?
