Computer locked up, forced it to reboot with reset
button. Now, it will not start past the windows logo
screen. It flashes quickly then the computer reboots
again. Same thing in safe mode, previous good
configuration, or normal. Emergency recovery CD provided
by Oem (powerspec) is not recognized - Says PC system not
supported.
Help?

Greetings --
I suggest that you contact the PC's manufacturer for warranty
support. It would appear that you've experienced a hardware failure
of some sort.

Do you have the bios set to boot off the CD...?

Yes. The message "Error! PC System not supported." Still
comes in.
When I try to let it start XP normally, the Windows logo
screen comes on for a flash, and there is text on sounding
like there is a bad file or something. It flashes too
fast to see.
Is there a way to manually step through the startup
sequence as in previous versions of Windows?
