Would appreciate help settling a friendly argument.
On an i850 Canon Printer... If someone decides not to use the color feature
when printing (not replenish the color ink supply) for whatever reason and
uses the black ink tank only for normal printing. Would it be detrimental to
the printer?

Many printers require all tanks to be available for printing even if only
black is to be used.. consult your printer manual for more information..
