The operating system is presently not configured to run
this program this comes on when I try to load word from
my other computer, any way to fix this was previously on
my 98se computer wondering if I could have it work on my
new computer with XP

You must install the program first before you can run it. Word (and all the
other Office suites) must be installed on each individual PC before they can
run as they need the individual registry entries - you cannot 'run' them
over a network.).
