Cannot install sp-1

Have tried to install the update numerous times. My
computer stalls when it gets to "creating restore point."

Any suggestions?

The computer also has the bug of freezing after I have
stepped away for a while.

Do you get any error message when SR fails to create an SR Point? One =
of the SR files may be have become corrupted.
