Just got WindowsXP. I can't believe how small the text is, must be about a
6 pt. This is the case for Explorer, Outlook, Outlook Express, etc.

Anybody know how I can increase the size for all programs?

The same way as in all versions. In the options menu.

Welcome to xp!

From the View menu, select the text size you're comfortable with.
Increase DPIs from Control Panel/Display/Settings/Advanced
You can lower your screen resolution (not recommended if you're using a
notebook) from the Settings menu.

Do you mean the Options Menu in each program? Perhaps you would be kind
enough to tell me just what to click on in Outlook to enlarge all text?

Check the resolution of your monitor and see if it is set to high for the
size screen.

At Control Panel - Display.

First on Settings page click Advanced and adjust the DPI setting (the
number of screen pixels assumed per inch). It may be on a high value
like 120 - put it to the standard 96 and Apply

Then on the Appliance page click Advanced and you can select especially
Icon in the Items and adjust the point size and icon size. ANd can also
adjust fonts used for various other things

Internet Explorer _ Outlook Express have a Text size setting in the View
menu
