Installed SP2 which seemed to go fine. However, one of the things that I have
noticed is that I cannot bring up the folder properties nor share a folder.
Any solutions? Anyone else notice this? I removed SP2 and everything in this
area worked as it should. Reinstalled SP2, same prob.

Hi
Have you checked the event logs (Start/Run --> eventvwr.msc)?
If you have IIS installed (not available for WinXP Home), check that
the World Wide Web Publishing service is not hanging at startup.
