There are four items in my recycle bin that I can't get
rid of. They will not restore to original location nor
will they delete. I get a message that says something
like "Dc 403 is being used by another person or program.
Close any programs that may be using the file". Or, if I
try to restore the file the message will say that the file
cannot be moved. As far as I know there are no other
programs using these files or running when I try to delete
them and I am the only user on the computer. How to
dispose of these files!!?

T
Start up in safe mode and try and delete them then. If not there is a free
program called Move on Boot which allows you delete the file during your
next boot sequence. Go here to get it.
http://www.gibinsoft.net/
Click GiPo File utilities. Then on the next page click GiPo Move on boot.
When installed it goes onto your context menu (right click). Just go to the
file you want to remove, right click and select delete. It will be removed
on next boot sequence. Good luck.

Graham, thanks much. Got rid of three of them in safe
mode. One would not go but for some reason deleted when I
put the computer back in regular mode. Thanks again. Ray
