Anyone know why the Task Scheduler in Win XP won't
execute the task at the specified time. It will not
execute even if I manually click the execute button.

Make sure the task can be executed. Copy what every your telling it to the
command line and make sure it runs. Also what does the task scheduler
report for the last time it ran?

The file I want to run is a batch file. It does work and
I have tried other programs that I know work.
It says never at the last time it ran.

Have you set the correct permissions on the task? In the properties of the
task, on the Task tab make sure the information entered in the "Run as" box
is correct and that the password for that account is correct.

I found the problem. Task Scheduler will not run if you
are not using a password when logging on to XP.
