I'm not even sure if this is the right place to post this
question. Oh Well. I'm using Windows XP Home Edition, and
whenever I try to install or download various programs, I
get the message "Windows Installer could not be accessed"
(for instance, this has happened when I tried to install
Office XP, and when I tried to download Adobe Acrobat
from the web). Any suggestions?

Some of your Windows Installer files that are on your hard disk are damaged
or are missing.
