The other reply gives you the info you need to determine
if your system is ready for an XP from ME upgrade. It
doesn't address the RAM issue though. While 128MB of RAM
is the recommended minimum this is just not enough in
todays graphic intensive environment. RAM is very
inexpensive at present and having had XP HE for over two
years now I highly recommend that you have a minimum of
512MB of RAM. This will do everything you want accept the
most graphic hogging games. Even then it's just a matter
of making sure your Virtual Memory(pagefile) is set to a
start point of 150MB and an end point of 1500MB. This will
take care of everything. XP is easy to tweak and configure
for your personal needs. Sites like www.kellys-korner-
xp.com and www.dougknox.com and www.blkviper.com all have
excellent configuration and tweaking information. Keep
