sp1 download cryptography problem

Trying to download new sp1 service pack - after checking
the update wizard returns the error: integrity of .inf
file could not be determined check to be sure cryptography
program is running
i have checked is shows running on my software scan

Now what?

Hi Steven,

Open Windows Explorer to C:\Windows\system32, right-click/rename the
catroot2 folder to catold. Then retry the SP1 installation. When finished,
there will be a new catroot2 folder and you can safely delete the old
renamed one.

that solved the problem - a little embaressing - i have an
MCSE and i consult on networks - just never saw the
problem before and couldn't find an answer in my books
