Had a problem removing some programs off my computer
recently so I removed them manually.
Not a hard job but when I go into the Add remove progam
area all those programs are still on the list

How do I remove them from that list?

Thanks
Mike

Click the entry in Add/Remove, it may offer to remove it for you. If not,
click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall

Each subkey here represents and installed program, hotfix, etc. Locate the
appropriate subkey and right click it. Select Export. This creates a
backup REG file, just in case. Then right click again, and select Delete.

Thanks that did the trick. For some unknown reason the 3
games I tried to get rid of lost all their uninstall
threads.
Had to do the regedit route ( first time I've gone there )
and it worked like a charm

Thanks again
Mike
