I was wondering if someone would be able to help me work
out how I get task manager to operate? There is only one
user account on my computer and when I press Ctrl + alt +
delete I get an error message saying "task manager has
been disabled by your administrator" I've been searching
and searching and can't seem to find a way to "enable"
task manager, I'd be really grateful for any advice on
this thank you...

Click Start, Run and enter REGEDIT Go to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\System
Look in the right pane for a value called DisableTaskMgr. If it exists, it
should be set to 0 (zero). If not, double click it and set it to 0. If it
doesn't exist, right click in a blank area of the right pane and select New,
DWord value. Name it DisableTaskMgr and leave it set at 0.
