Just updated to XP. The few programs that appear on
desktops of each user desktops may be lauched by clicking
on the icon.All other applications i.e Microsoft office
compontents, that can be found on the Hard drive, donot
open. When opening Word I get the message" Microsoft
Word has not been installed for the current user. Please
run setup and install the application. I have updated
with the install disk( no good ) uninstalled and
reinstalled ( no good )I cannot determine how to add
applications to each desk top which may the the solution
to the problem?

p.s. Sorry,I work in publishing and have been on a MAC
from day one. Recently switching to MACOSX and now XP is
about more than my brain can handle.
