Hi, before I erase my hard drive, because I've been trying
for days to fix this problem and I can't, I was wondering
if someone might know why I cannot access google,
altavista, msn search......any of the search engines.
Everytime I type something into a search engine this is
one of the error messages: The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had
its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
-----------------------------------------------------------
---------------------
Please try the following:
If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make
sure that it is spelled correctly.
Open the www.altavista.com home page, and then look for
links to the information you want.
Click the Back button to try another link.
Click Search to look for information on the Internet.
This goes for any search engine, not just altavista. When
I do click on the home page, A green webpage comes up with
the message "there is no website configured at this
address" and the page is called Cpanel. I went into
internet options, and configured it to accept all the
cookies for these searches, but that hasn't worked. I've
never had this happen before and if anyone has any idea
why it's happening I would really appreciate some help.
Thank you

You don't need a search engine. Just click the link.
