XP Home Ed. - registry_error 0x51 (0x03, 0x03, 0x00, 0xE1195000)

My PC with XP Home Ed. fails to reboot with the
registry_error 0x51 (0x03, 0x03, 0x00, 0xE1195000)
How do I fix this problem so that my PC boots up ?

I can't find any Windows XP articles that discuss this error. There
are several articles on Windows 2000 that cover this. You may want to
