does anyone know how to get rid of things that
automatically start up when i turn on my computer...my
stupid printer is not working, so i was told by the
company to uninstall it and then reinstall the
software...however, the program still appears in my
system tray when i start it up, with a big red x on
it...how do i remove it, since i thought i already did?

Uninstall the things you don't want or don't have,
or
Start | Run
Type
msconfig
and press <Enter>. Go to the Startup tab and uncheck what you don't want
starting.

Hi,
Go to Start/Run and type in: msconfig. Go to the Startup Tab and uncheck
accordingly. Then run this script to remove the disabled items from the
registry.
