when i try to fetch up my task manager it dissapears as
if its shut down. does anyone have any ideas ???

Hi Jason,

W32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

The same symptom is caused due to Klez, Yaha Viruses. It is advisable to run
a full system scan. Be sure you update the anti-virus software definitions.
