DVD drive deosn't recognize Nero Showtime

When I insert a DVD into my DVD drive, it asks me if want to open the DVD
with Windows Media Player, Cyberlink PowerDVD or Real Player or Take No
Action
but it gives NO other options. I ALWAYS want to open it with Nero's
Showtime, but I can't figure out how to add
Showtime to my list of options. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Rehan, but I'm not having any problems with my Nero in relation to
CD's or CD burning ... it is only when I insert a DVD movie and the action
box comes up and
"play the movie using Nero Showtime" is NOT an option.

This is exactly what the referenced links try to resolve. Did you actually
consult the links I mentioned?

From Kelly Theriot 's page:

"Some people want to be able to load their favorite CD burning program,
automatically, when they insert a blank CD into their CD-R/RW drive"

In your case this "favorite CD burning program" can be Nero Showtime.

This needs to be added to the actions , possibly in
Registry. That is a very involved, and you will need to
proper Key-id to edit, along with the path info.
