Screen resolution changes automatically when Win XP loads

i log on everything apears to be fine and then as the
desktop is displayed the resoloution drops to..a very L-o-
w- resoloution. on my laptop this is VERY annoying to
have to go and change everytime i boot.
p.s. i already reinstalled my display driver without any
changes.
any suggestions or similar problems?

If you have made any changes via Accessibility, reverse them.
