Really they dont seem to like one another on my system,Maybe its because
Its the old win pci card.Anyone finding the usb type better.?
My problem is that I keep losing the tv settings and sometimes a sudden
shutdown.Tried some
different Haauppauge drivers but still no good.I upgraded from ME.

Hi Larry,
After upgrading to XP from ME did you run Hauppauge's clearing program to
remove all the WinTV programs, driver files and registry entries? You may
have something left over causing problems.
Then after reinstall a new version of the driver for XP and the WinTV
software.

Probably a good argument for a clean install.
