It seems SP2 gives no longer a chance to alter the tcpip.sys maxconnection
value (hex editor) since the original file is copied back instantly without
warning - a rude behaviour!
Anyone an idea around the problem? - is there a registry key that can
effectively be used?

Tried that already - even those patches around dont work since the patched
file is replaced instantly
