Our workgroup shares a network drive, where all data files are stored. I
would like to password protect certain Folders and/or files so that a
password is needed to open them. All the files I want to protect are on the
shared network drive, none are on my local hard disk. How can I accomplish
this without third party software?

Greetings --

Ask the network administrator to implement some sort of security
measures on the server.
