Can receive but can't send e-mail using Outlook 2000 on XP SP2

I am trying to set up my new wanadoo.co.uk account. I receive e-mail no
problem, but when I try and send I get the cannot connect to server message -
before that I got the conection terminated message - any suggestions as to
what I need to tweak?

Its likely possibility that the service does not support Pop3 through the
Outlook client.
