Dowloading Up dates

I'not asking this for myself. I have a brother who
puchased xp. I intalled it for him. He has 56k and and
does not get great connection. I want to know if I can
download them and save them to a disk and install them.
If so what should I download. And how?

In the Windows Update Window (!) go to Customise and you can then view the
Windows Update catalog which will enable you to download updates to install
at a later time.
