Hello....
After a reboot of new installation of Windows XP Pro, I
cannot connect to Internet using cable modem. When I
check the status of the Ethernet, it shows connected, but
no packets are being transfer. Before the reboot I can
connect to it without any problem. But as soon as I
shutdown or restart the computer I cannot get connected
to Internet. I have XP home on the laptop and window 2000
on a different desktop I can connect without any problem.
When I type "ipconfig" getting the following:
Windows ipconfiguration
An internal error occurred: Requested is not supported
Please contact Microsoft Product support service for help
Additional information: Unable to query routing
information.
Note: I don't have any HUB's or routers.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have reinstalled
XP more than 5 times. PLEASE HELP :((
