Help..I have tried everything I can think of ..my
spellcheck doesn't work on my outlook express..I just
installed home Xp to replace ME. I don't even have an
spelling tab under opitions. I'm not a good speller and
need the spell check to work on my outgoing emails. What
to do??? Thanks

If you had Office installed under Me, reinstall it in XP. If not:

Greetings --
Outlook Express, as you've just discovered, has no spell-checking
capabilities of its own. Instead, it relies upon the presence of
other Microsoft applications, such as the Office Suite, Word, or the
Works _Suite_ (which includes Word, not the regular Works). There are
also some 3rd-party shareware/freeware solutions available at any of
the many shareware sites on the Internet
Spell Magic seems well thought-of, though I haven't tried it myself:

If you're still looking, I use this. It's free and will show up where your
grayed out spell check is.
