Hi all, I have a strange problem when the computer comes on I have the tool
bar to set to hide but it doesn't so when I put the cursor over the task bar
to correct it the hour glass appears to show something is running but it
does not show in the windows task manger, I can click on other icons and run
programs but can not see them on the task bar so if anyone has heard of this

Hello Bill,

I suggest you visit MS-MVP Kelly's website at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Note the instructions at the top of the page,
then scroll down to line 240,
(Programs Aren't Minimized in the Taskbar)

Right-click the hyperlink, then click | Save Target As |
to download the file, "xp_taskbar_desktop_fixall.vbs",
then double-click and follow the prompts.

See Tip 240 at Kelly's site:
(Programs Aren't Minimized in the Taskbar)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Taskbar, Notification Area repair Tool: "Taskbar Repair Tool Plus!"
