backup program or tool

my windows xp home edition does not have backup tool in
system tools and I can't find or install it anywhere else.
I need to restore .qic backup file from W98, among other
things. Where is the windows XP backup tool? Do I need
NTbackup.exe and where can I find it?

I think you'll find that NTBackup won't recognise backup files from W98.
You'll need to restore those on a Win 98 machine and copy the files over
some other way.

(I may be wrong - I usually am....)

Hi Najad,
The installer NTBackup should be on your Windows XP Home installation CD in
the folder \ValueAdd\MSFT\NTBACKUP
However some OEM computer manufactures may choose not to put it on their
CD's.

Yes, but unfortunately it will *not* work to restore backups
created with Windows 98's backup utility.
