A simple question:

If i wanted to check the properties of a file in windows i
go to the 'file', 'right click' on it, then go to
'properties', then go to the appropriate tab which in my
case is the 'summary' tab.

I was wondering if there was any way i could do the same
from the command prompt, by way of dos commands instead of
using my mouse to click away.

Many Thanks
Paul

Because dos or the command prompt never in its history has had file
properties except archive, read only and hidden attributes, you wont get
very further than that.
