XP Pro SP2 Bluescreen

I have XP Pro installed on my laptop and was looking forward to getting the
new functionality out of SP2 however, i updated my system with SP2 and each
and every time i pull out the charger lead i get a blue screen. If i should
try to start my laptop with SP2 without the charger lead attached it hangs
during start up.
If anyone can help i would be grateful.

You need to go to your laptop manufacturer and see if
there are any updated drivers to the battery monitor
software. For that matter, they may have other updated
drivers used only after you install SP2.
