I was having trouble with system freezing up, discovered
in Event Viewer that ACPI Bios was trying to write/read
from a protected area.[2 error reports]. I have finally
reinstalled everything from the partition. I tried
everything HP could suggest. I still get error message
recorded at every startup but system keeps running. Now
it has froze up again. Does anyone have an idea where to
look? I read all the KB about bios design and XP but
that doesnt help.
