I have XP SP2 running, and I disabled the Windows Firewall
from running. I use Norton Firewall and Norton Antivirus.
I keep getting notices popping up in the lower right hand
corner that I am not protected because I disable Windows
Firewall. How can I stop these Notices "Bubbles" from
popping up ? PlLease let me know.
Thanks
Bob

Open the Security Center (right click on the shield in your icon tray or
open from Control Panel) and look at the five items of blue text on the
left. The bottom one is Change the way Security Center Alerts Me. Click
it. On the Alert Settings uncheck Firewall.

This works better.
Open Control Panel, open Administrative Tools,
open Services, scroll to Security Center, right click,
select properties,
from the dropdown list under Startup Type,
select "Disabled," click apply
and ok. When you reboot you should no longer have the
issue.
