I installed a new HD. I installed XP home on it so now my system is
duel-boot ("C" or "D") - Both have XP home installed. Disk management shows
my C as a 'system' disk and the D as a 'boot' disk. I want to eliminate the
C drive and use the drive that is now D. How do I make it the 'system'
disk?

Thanks

Swap the physical configuration of the two drives (ide1/ide2 master/slave)
Redetect the new configuration in the BIOS

It's a possibility that you will have to reactivate.
